I was motivated to focus on the finer details of Brunswick's homes and surrounding environment, considering how I could capture Brunswick's essence. I gained a deeper appreciation of the suburb by attending university at RMIT's Brunswick campus and used gouache paint to emulate watercolour texture, edited through Photoshop to translate the colourful, fluid, and vibrant culture.
